About the Rathenow senior residence with its extensive range of services
The compassio Seniorenresidenz Rathenow was built on a plot of around 8,800 square metres directly in the city centre and comprises around 7,400 square metres of gross floor area. The J-shaped building was constructed as an energy-optimised KfW Efficiency House 40. It is heated in an ecologically sustainable manner by a combined heat and power unit (CHP), which also generates electricity.
The barrier-free residence extends over four full storeys and a staggered storey. There are 140 modern care places available for future residents in generously designed single rooms with en-suite bathrooms, half of the rooms are wheelchair accessible. In addition to a nurse call, each room has its own telephone, internet and television connection. It is possible to furnish the rooms yourself to ensure privacy and as a private retreat. The rooms are divided into eight independently organised residential groups with their own kitchen and lounge area as well as a balcony or terrace to ensure a familiar, social atmosphere.
A residents' restaurant with its own kitchen and sun terrace has been created on the ground floor of the senior residence. A hotel-style reception with an inviting foyer, a fireside lounge, a hairdresser and modern care bathrooms round off the services on offer in the property.
The friendly, spacious outdoor areas in the inner courtyard invite residents to exercise and socialise outdoors. However, they will also offer plenty of opportunities to linger in nature.
Optimal location and accessibility
Located directly in the centre of Rathenow, local shopping, social and cultural facilities as well as churches and doctors are within easy reach. Public transport connections are also guaranteed and 20 car parking spaces on the premises, two of which are disabled-friendly, as well as bicycle parking facilities ensure optimal accessibility for residents, visitors and employees.
Well thought-out standard ensures individuality and the highest construction quality
The compassio senior residence in Rathenow was built in accordance with the Cureus standard for system care properties. This places great importance on uniform, high quality standards and is oriented, among other things, towards the requirements of the operators, focusing on the residents and care staff. In this way, the structural processes and all properties are optimised from the inside to the outside: This concerns, for example, the size and arrangement of rooms to optimize space and walkways. Cureus care homes are also designed and equipped for maximum utility: interior corridors benefit from as much daylight as possible, every room has floor-to-ceiling windows that provide attractive views of the surrounding area, and the modern bathrooms and window fronts always follow the same standardised system approach. Each complex’s architecture and facade incorporate individual touches and are constructed to the highest quality standards, integrating seamlessly into their surroundings. The Cureus system approach also prioritises sustainability, both in terms of a care home’s long-term economic viability and its impact on the environment. All Cureus care homes are, for example, constructed in accordance with the ‘Effizienhaus-40-Standard’ (former KfW 40 energy-efficiency standard), while the bulk procurement of floor coverings or elevator systems, for example, ensures cost synergies and long-term maintenance contracts covering several properties also reduce costs for care home operators. The constant review and optimisation of the Cureus system care home standard guarantees the construction of care homes that truly meet demand.
