Modern care home with a comprehensive range of services

Measuring approx. 7,300 square metres, the new residence is home to 80 care places on three full floors and a recessed top floor. The generously designed, barrier-free single rooms are grouped into six living groups. Residents will be able to furnish the rooms themselves if they want to, allowing them to add their own personal touches and create a real feeling of home. The living group on the ground floor is specially designed to meet the needs and care requirements of dementia patients, and offers direct access to the outdoor facilities, which are designed as a dementia garden and include, for example, spiral paths so that residents can move around safely even without supervision. This spacious garden area is also available to the other residents.

The residence has a gross floor area (GFA) of approx. 5,150 square metres and has been designed and built according to the KfW 40 energy-efficiency standard. Heating is supplied by an environmentally-friendly combined heat and power plant (CHP), which will also generate electricity for the senior residence. The modern, rectilinear facade is an architectural eye-catcher and, with its attractive colour scheme and brickwork first floor, the property blends harmoniously with its surroundings.

The Insanto senior residence Dinslaken will have its own restaurant with a full kitchen, laundry, and hairdressing and chiropody salon, which can also be used by members of the local community. The residence is also equipped with communal kitchens and lounges for residents on all floors. The outdoor facilities are specifically designed to meet the needs of residents. In addition to a communal terrace, there will also be rest and relaxation zones, surrounded by ample greenery. The residence is located close to the centre of Dinslaken and has good public transport connections and 20 new parking spaces on the grounds, ensuring easy accessibility for visitors and care staff alike.

High-quality construction to proprietary Cureus standard

The new Insanto senior residence Dinslaken is designed and will be built in accordance with the Cureus standard for system care homes. This places great importance on uniform, high quality standards and is oriented, among other things, towards the requirements of the operators, focusing on the residents and care staff. In this way, the structural processes and all properties are optimised from the inside to the outside: This concerns, for example, the size and arrangement of rooms to optimize space and walkways. Cureus care homes are also designed and equipped for maximum utility: interior corridors benefit from as much daylight as possible, every room has floor-to-ceiling windows that provide attractive views of the surrounding area, and the modern bathrooms and window fronts always follow the same standardised system approach. Each complex’s architecture and facade incorporate individual touches and are constructed to the highest quality standards, integrating seamlessly into their surroundings. The Cureus system approach also prioritises sustainability, both in terms of a care home’s long-term economic viability and its impact on the environment. All Cureus care homes are, for example, constructed in accordance with the ‘Effizienhaus-40-Standard’ (former KfW 40 energy-efficiency standard), while the bulk procurement of floor coverings or elevator systems, for example, ensures cost synergies and long-term maintenance contracts covering several properties also reduce costs for care home operators. The constant review and optimisation of the Cureus system care home standard guarantees the construction of care homes that truly meet demand.
