Hamburg/Hannover/Seevetal, 21. Dezember 2021. Cureus, an experienced integrated property company for inpatient care homes in Germany, which is developing its portfolio by itself, has completed the Seevetal-Fleestedt multi-generational quarter in Seevetal with 116 inpatient care places, 20 places for outpatient daycare, 39 assisted living units and a children’s daycare centre and handed it over to the future operator MEDIKO. The complex has already been in operation since mid-November.

“Thanks to the support of all those involved in the construction as well as the operator MEDIKO, we were able to complete the project successfully and on time. Seevetal thus gains important and urgently needed space for the care and housing of young and old”, says Rainer Schmitz, Project Manager at Cureus. “We wish all residents much joy in this new quarter and our operating partner MEDIKO all the best for the future”. Cureus will integrate the quarter into its real estate portfolio.

"We are pleased about the successful start and the comprehensive offer for young and old in Seevetal. The first residents already moved into the care facility in November and feel very comfortable. Also twelve assisted living units have already been rented out. And the day care centre in the neighbourhood is bustling with children," explains Christian Cohausz, Managing Director of MEDIKO. "With our intergenerational offers, urban life will soon move into a well-located neighbourhood. In addition, a total of 75 new jobs will be created in diverse areas of activity.” Details of the current vacancies can be found here.

Senior residence, outpatient daycare, assisted living units and children’s daycare centre all “under one roof”
Since summer 2020, construction has been underway on three buildings on the 14,500-square-metre site at Winsener Landstraße 12 in 21217 Seevetal-Fleestedt according to the modern and sustainable KfW 40 energy-efficiency standard. The extremely attractive buildings are connected by a common and generously proportioned garden with lots of green space, which, in addition to a playground for the daycare centre, also includes a football field, exercise areas and meeting, rest and relaxation zones. The complex includes 69 car parking spaces, nine of which are wheelchair accessible, as well as 16 bicycle parking spaces.
