Cureus starts third construction phase to create 41 assisted living units in senior residence in Lüchow
- 41 modern, barrier-free assisted living units planned for completion by autumn 2023

Hamburg/Hannover/Lüchow, 28 September 2022. Cureus, an integrated property company that specialises in developing and actively managing its own care home portfolio, and compassio as the complex’s future operator have announced that they have received the building permit for the third and final construction phase of Seniorenresidenz Lüchow at Königsberger Straße 4 in 29439 Lüchow. Olaf Joop Projektbau GmbH is the general contractor for this project.
“In addition to the senior residence with 114 modern care places and 13 assisted living units that was completed and opened in early 2021, we are now expanding the ensemble with the addition of an attractive residential building with 41 barrier-free assisted living units”, explains Rainer Schmitz, project manager at Cureus. “Completion to the KfW 40 energy-efficiency standard and handover to compassio, our experienced on-site operating partner, are scheduled for the third quarter of 2023”.

Living and working at Seniorenresidenz Lüchow – some care places and apartments are still available
The third construction phase will create a total of around 2,500 square metres of living and communal space. The 41 modern assisted living units, eight of which are fully wheelchair-accessible, are spread over three floors and have attractive floor plans ranging from 48 to 59 square metres with two living rooms in each unit. In addition to an eat-in kitchen and a bedroom, all units also feature a bathroom, hallway, storage space and a private terrace or balcony.

Potential employees can also still apply. The new residence is creating up to 100 new and secure full- and part-time jobs in Lüchow. compassio is primarily looking to recruit nursing specialists and nursing assistants, although there are also open positions in the care and service areas.
